Using the Past Simple
What is the past simple?
Es un tiempo verbal que usamos para hablar de acciones que comenzaron y terminaron en el pasado.
Ejemplos:
- I visited my grandmother last weekend.
- She helped a friend at school.
• Formación:
- Regular verbs: verbo + -ed → play → played, talk → talked
- Irregular verbs: tienen forma especial → go → went, eat → ate
• Time expressions (palabras clave):
yesterday, last year, two days ago, in 2023
