Se usa para un solo lugar o cosa.
Estructura: There is + singular noun
Ejemplos:

• There is a bank in my city.

• There is a park near my house.

b) There are
Se usa para más de un lugar o cosa.
Estructura: There are + plural noun
Ejemplos:

• There are three supermarkets in my city.

• There are many restaurants near the park.

c) Negativo y preguntas

• Negativo:

  • There isn’t a hospital in my neighborhood.

  • There aren’t any libraries in this area.

• Pregunta:

  • Is there a police station near your house?

  • Are there any schools in this street?
